About the show

Scottish-born lawyer David Maxwell Fyfe was a leading prosecutor at the Nuremberg war crimes trials, who went on to become the British artisan of the European Convention on Human Rights. For him this was all One Story. A new generation of his family bring this story to life with a unique piece of theatre, blending Maxwell Fyfe’s personal papers, Sue Casson’s ethereal music and archive film in the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg Trials. Followed by Q&A. ‘A love letter to peace, freedom and remembrance’ (National). ‘Brilliantly performed’ (Derek Awards). ‘Beautiful... sublime’ (MusicalTalk.Wordpress.com).
