About the show

Two plays. One ticket. Two connected stories from last season: Hearts’ closest title challenge in 40 years. Performed inside Tynecastle Park’s 1874 Supporters Bar, this site-specific double bill turns the real bar into each play’s world. At an open-mic night, 'Moved' follows a supporter whose public hope collides with private angst: is football holding him together or tearing him apart? In 'Season in Bloom', a Gorgie pub’s staff, regulars and visitors navigate the same hope, grief and gallows humour. Heartbreaking, funny and deeply human: it isn’t about football. It’s about what football does to people.
